Congratulations to our charity for 2022/2023!
Kern County Cancer Foundation
The Kern County Cancer Foundation was established to assist local patients with significant expenses related to cancer care. Before the establishment of the KCCF cancer patients had to choose between paying for their mortgage or paying for treatment. Local oncologists and community members rallied together to start KCCF in 2012 to eliminate the financial burden brought on by a cancer diagnosis.
Kern County is challenged with a lack of treatment facilities for children diagnosed with cancer. Recognizing the need, KCCF began transporting children to and from treatment facilities in 2020 and providing financial assistance to qualified families.
